It's been a while since I've posted anything here. I just haven't had much motivation lately. We're going to have our yearly Christmas family visit, soon. This is usually a very stressful time of year. I love my family and look forward to seeing them, but I don't look forward to the inevitable drama.

Abandoned malls in good condition should be converted into apartments. It's been done before. Food courts could serve the same purpose they have before. Larger-scale stores could be converted into recreational areas. Opinions? #Malls

Yesterday was a beloved family member's birthday. Then comes today. 22 years ago, I lost a great friend that I underappreciated. He was 21 years old. Whenever November 11 comes around, I think about him. He's missed so much since then. I still can't believe he's gone. 21 is too young

In a recent D&D session, our DM awarded me a feat. My halfling rogue, Rufus Tealeaf gained the shadow touched feat. He can now cast Invisibility & Inflict Wounds once per day (after a long rest). Long story short: Rufus ended up in the Shadowfell, smoked unidentified weed which turned him into a beacon for their monsters, got into a fight, was wounded, and then some blood splashed into his wounds. He also got a nice +2 dagger out of the deal

I'm practicing writing alt text for screen readers. I'm hoping this description will be more palatable than "an image of a chubby cartoon character smiling smugly and crossing his arms"
