Attempting to rebuild my life from the ashes.

Whoa.

Florida insurance premiums have now SOARED 206% since DeSantis became governor.

On average, Florida homeowners pay over $4,200/year for home insurance, TRIPLE the national average of $1,700.

Some insurers are now leaving the state entirely.

The DeSantis administration's response so far has been to call the insurance companies 'woke.'

They can't avoid the hospital so that means they'll just have to roll the dice each time they go?

What a cruel world.

Immunocompromised means the vaccine doesn't work as well. So what the current US policy says is equivalent to "you're on your own" good luck! 😡😡😡

Residuals are a rather fantastical compensation mechanism when compared with other industries. Imagine if software developers kept receiving a paycheck as long as the company was still making money from your software.

Is there any code in Firefox (as of 2020) that comes from Netscape Navigator?

Inspired by comments on the previous question Is it true that Netscape Navigator eventually became Mozilla Firefox? (Answer: Yes). In 1998, Netscape released a large amount of their existing sourc...

the dilemma of how to write with due sensitivity about a crazy asshole who is clearly having some serious issues and is acting out in public badly, but who nevertheless has a long and storied history of being, deep down in their soul, an asshole
