When you save the red wine sauce from the beef tenderloin Christmas dinner you don’t waste it. You add some cornstarch to it and use it as the sauce for your smothered pork chops with mashed potatoes and cauliflower.

Before the #Dungeon23 here’s a surface map of the destroyed city of Galmagia; the canal on its Eastern border, the 5 sites of interest (4 of which are possible entrances to the dungeon) and the enticing but picked over central ruins.

Each numbered area here has a corresponding 4-10 room cluster under it, with longer tunnels connecting each cluster as indicated. Those clusters are themed to the parts of the city above them W28 is under the customs house, and has the easiest entrance.

Amatos Middletown

When she wished to be dressed as a sexy elf maid she had imagined “Arwen”, but got “Member of North Pole Cleaning Staff”.
Is it really Christmas if you haven’t hung your “The Witch-Queen has cut the unicorn’s head off” ornament from #NeilGaiman #Stardust ? I don’t think so.

Tonight’s cooking experiment: Cooks Illustrated’s Chicken Saltimbocca, with spiced fingerling potatoes and sautéed broccoli.

This worked really well. CI comes through again.
