@Tutanota I tried signing up for a medium account and I got this error. Just sent a request to medium telling the to allow use of a Tuta account (as well as a @protonprivacy account since that didn't work either). Ridiculous that they are blocking you as a provider.
@thelinuxEXP I currently run a Nextcloud instance on linode for file and photo backup/sync between my phone and computer. But, lately I’ve been eyeing proton drive as another private option for potentially more storage for less money. But, I’ve heard the Linux support for proton drive isn’t great, and that it doesn’t currently automatically sync photos from your phone. But, that both are coming soon™. Are these also the reasons why you chose Nextcloud over proton, or is there something else?
Got off my call with Reddit just now about the API. Bad news unless I come up with 20 million dollars (not joking). Appreciate boosts. https://www.reddit.com/r/apolloapp/comments/13ws4w3/had_a_call_with_reddit_to_discuss_pricing_bad/
📣 Had a call with Reddit to discuss pricing. Bad news for third-party apps, their announced pricing is close to Twitter's pricing, and Apollo would have to pay Reddit $20 million per year to keep running as-is.

Hey all, I'll cut to the chase: 50 million requests costs $12,000, a figure far more than I ever could have imagined. Apollo made 7 billion...

Why are games not separated out by resolution when downloading? With lots of modern games having large download sizes, I'm curious why no one does this. I could be wrong but I'm assuming when you download the game, you get all the textures in every resolution from ~720p to 4k. But, if I don't have a 4k monitor, why can't I opt out of downloading the 4k textures? I'm not nearly far enough into my gamedev career to know the answer to this so I'm curious if anyone here will know.
