Oh how I would love to have a website which could recommend me #books — and whose recommendations would actually work!
I've been using #Goodreads for years, but one of the features I would most love there is one of the worst: recommendations. They just don't work. They're total bullshit, based on commercial ends more than on artistic attributes of books.
I want working recommendations. Do you know where to get them? And algorithmically, so that they won't run out.
Do you know what is a Cat's Choice™? Well I'll tell you.
1. You pick five random unread #books from your shelf.
2. You arrange them next to each other on a table or floor.
3. You wait for a #cat to spot one of the books (obviously you need a cat to do this).
4. You read the cat's chosen #book.

So, what good #books have you read lately?
Looking at my own read list, the only book I've given at least four stars this year has been Niina Hakalahti's Lumilinna https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/30308234-lumilinna (sorry, it's only in Finnish).
And before that there's Tom Spanbauer's The Man Who Fell In Love With The Moon (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10799908-mies-joka-rakastui-kuuhun), which I read in Finnish in December.
No five-star books lately, damn it!
