I really like the idea of giving the people the power to decide how the internet is operated. It should have always been like that. Kinda reminds me of the time when everyone had their personal blogs. It makes me nostalgic.
I hope the fediverse becomes more popular than the social medias being run by the big techs.

I've been getting kinda obsessed with fediverse these days. It started when reddit decided to cut free access to their API, killing third party apps. I migrated to Lemmy, and not long after I created an account here on Mastodon.
