We survived the broken rift, killed the undead that attacked us, sort-of temporarily befriended the bulette that they'd /originally/ been attacking, then negotiated a safe exit from the undead who ruled the necropolis.
We travelled west, to a suggested shelter, and found outselves at the Lost City of Salaivaire, which was to be our eventual destination!
We entered the city and started setting up a camp inside a former guardhouse- some of us starting a fire for food, some setting up (c)

We went through a mysterious rift, to investigate the probable thieves of minor items from the Dwarven mines of Wasserspeir Turm, a small settlement of Kobolds who'd learned how to use said portal to enter the mines.
What we DIDN'T know is that it opened into the middle of an Undead-infested necropolis! And, that the portal itself was damaged, giving bizarre glimpses into the past and future.
