URGENT!!! Twitter is now BANNING all accounts that link to Mastodon. A mass purging of pro-democracy Twitter accounts appears imminent. Please consider BOOSTING this post and encourage everyone to follow us to help us build up this platform so we can continue to spread our pro-democracy messages. This is not a drill!

Slept appallingly last night and consequently feel like reheated bin juice. It's only Wednesday, right?

Friend's new puppy to make things better.

I'm confused why everyone is talking about #Strictly but it's Friday night. Is this some football bullshit thing and they've moved it without my realising?
Ah yes. The old 'retaining advertisers when you're a massive arsehole' dilemma. It's challenged our great engineering minds for centuries...

If you're joining Post, keep in mind that it's against their Terms of Service to criticise billionaires.

At the same time they don't care about disabled people.

Happy #followbackfriday

I'm a Nurse who has been tweeting about healthcare/our pay campaign 2 ys now. I'm looking to connect with NHS Supporters ahead of strikes to combat the propaganda we will deal with & show support

Please consider a follow or a 🔄 if you already do 💙

If you enjoy someone's post on #Mastodon go ahead and click the star. If someone tells you that's meaningless because there's no #algorithm, ignore them. Sure, boost the post too if you want others to also see the post, but don't think telling someone you like what they posted is somehow unimportant. In real life I don't tell someone, "good job," or "well said," or "I love that," for the sake of some algorithm, I do it because I'm human and they are too. It's fundamental to being truly social.

And here we have it. The bleak results of anti-immigration cruelty and playing for cheers from your ignorant and racist voter base.

Yes, caring for people costs money. However, not caring for them costs so much more.

Why must we always learn stuff the hard way?

Cricut cutting machines, ubiquitous in schools, libraries and makerspaces, can be used to make embossed or stenciled #TactileGraphics. A Braille embosser costs at least $1500 — Cricuts cost a fifth of that or less. Today I learned that I can handle the hardware and make great stencils: all that holds a Blind #maker back is a set of unlabeled controls in the software. Does anyone know somebody at #Cricut I could talk to about improving #accessibility? Boosters beloved on this one!
Every year I try to participate in winter festivities with my Christmas-celebrating friends by sending them the weirdest misinterpretation of their holiday.
I think I just found this year's winner...
