First snow of the season just started up here in Utah. Jumped off a work Zoom call to take a quick video - so excited!
How am I only finding out now that those green apple sauce pouches for kids have a joke printed on the very bottom of them. That is like 1,000 dad jokes I could have learned by now. I am furious.
If anyone on here has ever had to go to court to get their school district to provide appropeiate special education services - boy do I feel you right now. SkiMumPro and I are about 10,000 pages or so into making evidence binders for our hearing. Hoping to break our state’s (unlawful in our opinion) positions which result in not providing free and accessible public education.
The resources of the state are against us, but let’s fucking go! Even if we lose, may we crack rhe door a little for the next family.

Last month I could reach out the *second story* window in this photo and touch the snow…now there is just a little icy pile left trying to cling on. Spring is amazing.
I use the Nextdoor app for hyper-local questions (“hey - anyone else’s water off on SkiDadPro Rd”, etc). Anyway I just got an alert on the app that they are rolling out a new awards feature. Trying to work out if a blue tick on Twitter or the “convo starter” award on Nexrdoor would be the least glamorous social media symbol of 2023. I mean 10 posts to get the convo award, and you just know for many people at least eight of those posts will be about dog poop.
