Despite the name you'll find more solitude at Jackson Hole than you do at Solitude Mountain, but this view was nothing short of dreamy when I was there. It might lack verisimilitude, but the edit brings across the vibe all too well, of a "Chairlift to Heaven".

AV_chess4. The highlight was when in a sunny partial clearing, a very colourful butterfly glided over me. I recognised it immediately from “Watsatch butterflies” as an Arizona Sister. It settled on a tree and unfortunately my photos do not do it justice. Just before that #butterfly took off, another landed on a different bush in the same glade.
