Memories of yesterday - when I finally got to take part in the London Marathon (7 years trying with the ballot, and needing to defer last year)!
Sadly, the past year of injury took its toll and I had to withdraw at 17.5 miles due to my calf muscle going again. But I'm still so blooming proud of what I achieved, when two weeks ago I didn't think I'd be able to run at all.
They are right - it's an experience like no other!
