Fosdem was amazing. It was inspiring to see so many young people and women at the event. I've never seen so many women at an open source event!
@coni2k it was exciting to see this in action at @OpenForumEurope summit last week!
@coni2k they have been wonderful sponsors of open@rit. RIT's people have been some of the best community members at #ieeesaopen
@plsburydoughboy Ah something more general. hmm yea I can see why that might not work as well if the community grows... hard to always know what is a problem as it becomes more diverse with all the new people (like me) but hopefully they can learn? See I normally do content warnings for tales of Sexual abuse and discrimination but not politics.
@plsburydoughboy um what does cws mean? I will have a hard time remember it without context. we did pol: in a newsgroup and it was obvious.
@Triplefox SB's actually not bad. I did fancy bubble teas at burningman. I also do stupid expensive oolongs and pu-ers too :-) the only bad thing are syrups that taste like jolly ranchers :-P
@mkb \o/
@b_cavello technical help! setting up lighting. positioning camera and mic. I think I figured out the youtube side of things! if we do need to set up things to hold things... I'll pay more for that.
