This is my hobby blog. As of 2025 I love knitting, sewing, coldprocessed soap, spinning, and there will be more coming... 84-70-94 or so, I should measure again at some point...
Beautiful! And perfect timing 🐇
How to use aliases - they help so much and the alias (bash_aliases or sth) file (1) helps to look up my most liked commands (2) and can be copied from one linux system to the next.
Congratulations 🥳

Thanks for sharing! Cute top. If I learned anything, it is to give myself time/space and fabric for learnings. I worked my first stretch tops with a twin needle and had similar experience. On my machine with my experience the twin needle only did a good job on non-slinky fabrics with a tad more weight than lightweight, drapey thin t-shirt jersey. I solved my problem and got me a cover stitch. That is the expensive but my cover stitch is SO much better at transporting the stretchy fabric than my

Thank you.
This is the cleo top from rust knitwear. The design is simple, yet beautiful. I had my difficulties knitting the edges on the neck and armholes. I've knit each of them at least two times. The finishing on these edges was done with a crochet hook. This gave me the smoothest finish which did not create too much bulk.

I love this top, it hides the straps from all my bustiers well. The color is easy to incorporate into my wardrobe.

The yarn is the setacotone (hand dyed) from lana grossa and it is a beautiful cotton-silk mix. Sadly, it's discontinued.

I started with pottery some time ago, bit still feel like a newbie. I am quite unexperienced, but it is a fascinating craft. This little plate becane a needle plate with the help of three small rubber feet, a small magnet and a little bit pf glue.

This will be my little sewing helper 😊
