Zack Weinberg@tefferbear It seems like this would leave you with a lump right in the middle of the patch, which, for socks, means right in the middle of your heel where you have to step on it all the time. Can that be avoided?
@zwol i haven’t had that as a problem, but I recommend using soft, thin yarn or floss to keep the patch as smooth as possible, and don’t yank on the tension, let it build naturally.
