Having video game clothing and taking books out of the library is also protective when you are an activist.

It shows that you are mentally active and considerate of the epistemology and ontology of social reality.

Try to maintain a reddit account or some sort of picture account such as uploading public domain pictures on a site like Pexels or Flikr or another site.

This shows that you are not insane, and are not paranoid and psychotically insane since you are willing to put pictures of your environment online.

That said remember that anyone can have mental illness and healthcare professionals also try hard and might also be afraid for their money and the public safety.

Tattoo's are one way to show that you have capacity. A permanent one might be a good idea but be careful of the risks. You can get temporary ones like Henna, sticky ones and glow in the dark temporary ones to prove that you have capacity. Sometimes you can order them in the ward to prove that you have capacity as an activist.
Always carry multiple phone chargers with you. A money bag or one on your leg might also be useful A social activist needs to have ways to charge their phone.
If you are sectioned as any kind of social or Human Rights Activist or at risk of sectioning always bring a non-plastic bag that is not made of plastic. Plastic ones sometimes get thrown out and you might need a bag to prove you are seen and have capacity to at least collect stuff together and order it in your room.

These LGBT nail polishes look awesome (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender).

Growing a beard or your nails as a human rights activist, can be used to highlight how long you have been detained or sectioned for and taking a picture of your beard or nails week by week.

It might be good to take facilities to clean a beard or nail polish if the chance of arrest, sectioning and detaining is plausible or highly likely plausible. Putting nail polish on your nails while detained might also show capacity it might be a good idea to always carry one in a safe manner.

Here is a thought experiment. Do Prostitutes with HIV sometimes get Pokemoned, put on medication by gangs like Zidovudine and forced to sleep with political activists or important people.

Are people with HIV vulnerable and could a gang capture a vulnerable women and force them to do this in order to get dirt on a politician or as revenge.

What if someone provides them free accommodation since they cannot work,, and blackmails, coerces and controls every aspect of their life.

When cleaners clean your room after being sectioned it is a good idea to always make sure that, you take items like chargers and phones with you in case they go missing. Social and political activists can sometimes get sectioned and this can be deadly.

Note: I am not blaming the institutions as sometimes this can arise out of mis-understanding by the state or those involved. Try not to damage important institutions where it is un-necessary. "pray for the welfare of the goverment to stop chaos".
