TLDR: wear mask. Don’t carry or wear unique identifiers (pay in cash if you’re stealing while buying). Don’t be predictable. Assume you’re on camera (doesn’t necessarily mean someone’s watching). Be quick.

@gravyshrine I have an et-8500 and it's nice because I can print anything, but it's slow for zines and I end up clearing a fair amount of jams when duplexing. I like that I probably don't have tracker dots, but if I were just doing zines, I'd go laser. If you go with the ecotank and are planning on printing a lot (like thousands of pages), I highly recommend the extended warranty since the manufacturer warranty is only 1 year and doesn't re-up when you get an RMA.
Nice thing is most big office stores are pretty understanding with returns when they accidentally send you ink bottles that are empty 🙂
