Liberals love to come up with woke sounding ways to encourage people to obey the law. People boost from selfcheckout all day every day. They only catch a small fraction of those who do it.
I really hate to see all the people quote tweeting that clip of that chud pulling Palestine protesters off the road saying they need to fight him. To me, it's just calling them pussies for doing something incredibly brave from behind a keyboard.
I don't disagree with the overall point that activists need to be more capable of self-defense, but shitting on people taking huge risks to make that while you aren't is really gross. They are treating struggle as content to consume. I would hope the people making those hot takes are either helping the people they're shitting on get out of jail, or train radicals in their community for self-defense.
