@RxD_RxT They do, yeah! They tend to take on a life of their own once they're out in the world, as new ideas come to me, though it feels more like the characters themselves are making those choices haha

@RxD_RxT Yes, many! OCs that are extremely meaningful to me (Elysium, Ferret, Grin, etc.) have their creation dates as their birthdays, the first time they appeared in my art, writing, or a game. By that, I've let fate take the wheel in regards to their astrological signs, and so far they feel pretty accurate.

I'm genuinely so tired of hopping services when one does something shitty or starts age-gating shit. Guess I'll just watch Discord burn itself out, and if I lose access to my friends well it was a fun run I fucking guess (they refuse to use any other service, I've literally tried to get them to move but their apathy is absolute and I'm tired of trying)

The last one is modeled after Elysium's apartment as I see it in my head. Recently, I started pondering what my little guys do when they aren't in use, whether they go on living separate lives, waiting for my presence to return. It made me kinda sad.

The news about Discord is super disappointing. Makes me feel bad for using the app, while simultaneously I need it to keep in touch with my offline friends. We could easily stay in contact by exchanging numbers, but they just... refuse. So it's either use a quickly enshittening service or lose contact with all my friends.  The world is boiling and I've got to pick my battles. Tired tired tired.
