@Mrfunkedude same. Its like linux distros. At some point you just have to pick one and let ppl yell at you.
The way I would put it is that there are times to be diplomatic and there are times to just let some1 have it.
I have dealt with a lot of narcissists in my life, and I have learned at some point you need to throw them down, ignore their distractions, and work around them if you need to while trying to get rid of them.
