@loudwalrus @lisamelton I don’t remember exactly when I came out, I think I was 30. 30 years old and I was still terrified of what coming out could mean for my relationships. I am more afraid now of being a visibly trans person in America than I was back then. “Woke indoctrination” is a fun buzz word for the useful idiots that support the trash that legislates their hate.
@jikodesu I have been using the same pair of AirPods for a couple of years now. They’re fine. Battery is still pretty good too. It’s fine.

Juneteenth should remind us that human trafficking was legal. Slavery was legal. Jim Crow was legal. The US Govt paying reparations to white enslavers who lost their “property” but not to the formerly enslaved who lost their lives, was legal. Indeed, prison slavery is still legal today.

Do not let legality & power be your measure of morality & justice.

I didn’t realize how much I would use Reddit when I was bored. It’s a bit weird to use google to find news sources “manually” or accessing tech sites to sort through their current articles. I think mastodon can get there, but obviously needs the users and posters. I’m willing to hang out and see what happens 💁🏻‍♀️
I made a (well-coordinated) LED tote and crossbody bag using the technique of 3D printing translucent tiles onto tulle and inserting them through corresponding holes in the bags' front panels. I sewed long zippers in the lining of both bags to make it easy to access the interior, and attached a flexible LED string behind the tiles with hot glue. A #Pixelblaze controller inside each bag makes it easy to run synchronized patterns. I'll be writing up a "how to" guide on them for @makemagazine.
