I just asked chatGPT to write a poem for me about grief. Honestly, the stilted words it came up with provided some help. What cannot it do?
Just finished our 2023 research brainstorming meeting at my non-ac job! I didn’t expect to get as excited as I am by research projects in the ad tech space, but I’m looking forward to many of these projects. And super pumped at how well-received my research ideas were
So this is interesting. ChatGPT answers like a white person by default, but if you ask it to adopt a PoC perspective it can.
@ct_bergstrom I ran old upper-division psychology essay questions through and GPT absolutely crushed them. All would have been A responses. One of the many reasons I left academia was realizing this was coming and it is as amazing and terrifying as I expected.

Truly, truly egregious behavior from the editorial leadership at Perspectives on Psychological Science. There needs to be a VERY quick change in leadership.

The best part of data analysis is running a test and then realizing you are the only person in the world that knows that finding.

Of course, long term you want to share it, but just for a minute, it is just yours to savor!

It has been a while since I had to format a paper for publication. I forgot just how pointless it felt.
