MANY people asked:fighting against what? It was an example of both sides-ism and normalization par excellence.

After lots of people objected, they removed it.

Why are people having such a hard time explaining the fediverse to people? It's just like email., doesn't matter what instance you're on, provided they're not full of nazis, you can interact with anyone once you know where they are. If boomers can handle Email, people can handle the fediverse just fine if it's properly explained.

Not only did the US supreme court give a thumbs up to discrimination, they did so based on a lie. The person they built the case around their 'right' to deny service to was a straight man who never approached them for anything.
