Yesterday, @ABC tweeted a headline that declared that Moms for Liberty were “fighting back.”

MANY people asked:fighting against what? It was an example of both sides-ism and normalization par excellence.

After lots of people objected, they removed it.

NEVER forget that your voice matters. And that the voice of the people can have real power.

MSNBC has finally started naming publicly the Republican billionaire donors funding Supreme Court attacks on civil rights, voting, and democracy. Koch. Fancelli. Uihlein.

#KochNetwork literally bought the end of Affirmative Action while leaving in place racist policies like legacy admissions, faculty admissions, and donor admissions.

Uihlein is buying the end of agency and autonomy by funding Ohio GOP's attack on reproductive rights

A flood of anonymous cash into GOP coffers has reincarnated Jim Crow and Jane Crow.

Ibram Xendi says that throttling affirmative action admissions to college will reduce social mobility, entry into postgraduate programs, he scope of social research, representation in teaching and other professions, and reduce political representation.

Republican voters don't seem to care that attacks of the civil rights of others is also an attack on the rights of all Americans, including themselves.

@Npars01 they don’t care because the goal isn’t even “democracy for me but not for thee.” The goal isn’t democracy at all. It’s to reinstall the confederacy, but without secession this time. The racial hierarchy will be reinforced, gods be damned. Only wealthy white men will have the vote.

Moms for Liberty isn’t a parental rights group. It’s not a group of moms fighting back.

It’s a far right extremist group that’s way too enamored with quoting Hitler.

I hope the media will be very clear in naming them for what they are. The normalization of hate is incredibly dangerous.

@jbf1755 @ABC I've become jaded to any organization that is "Moms <preposition> <noun>". It's almost always an organization that's trying to control "unwanted members of society" under the guise of "protecting children".

There's a sign in my town for "Moms demand action" and I haven't looked into what they demand action about.
