I just ran the numbers, and you should know that if you've see three five-person manels (all-male panels) in a row, you've witnessed something that should be less likely than getting struck by lightning. If you're a guy, think about that for a bit, then ask yourself what you should be doing.

Here, you can check my math:

An IBM PC AT was $6k in 1984! But of course a Commodore 64 was ~$600. Computers used to be relatively a lot more expensive than other things you might have at home.

@dtgeek Nope. It's very rare that I hear about an OTA TV show I'd want to see and there's a ton of stuff online, so I never really bother.

My wife uses it occasionally, but for sports, but she's finding more and more online outlets for that too

@ryanamos I like wireless earbuds for walking because I dedicate them to my phone which removes some of your mentioned downsides. Agree on everything else.

The thing is, having a wired plug does not prevent you from using wireless at all so there's literally zero benefit to a BT only phone except presumably that it's cheaper or easier to make without the jack.

@rikferguson I really can't see it being linkedin, which is currently just a hive of self promotion as far as I can tell. I'd never willingly go there.
I want David Cronenberg to design the new USB standard, so all the ports and plugs sigh and moan and writhe before finally accommodating each other’s anatomy in a blissful, disturbing union that allows charging and data transfer to occur effortlessly between all equipment.

@sniverrs I really love TUI tools. Lately I've been writing TUIs with Textual, a library for python and really enjoying it.
@Lauren_nicole_roth I watched the first episode yesterday, that was pretty wild
