@snazzyq Also, I found out the hard way that they are *terrible* to deal with if you ever have a dispute.

@viticci The Alpine Loop is absolutely better than the Ocean band. But do you know what is even better, *more* adjustable, and *more* comfortable?

@Haste I’m really glad you shared this. I’m sure that must have been difficult. It’s important to bring light to these poor HR situations. I’m sorry you had to deal with it, but I hope your story (and the name of the company) prevent other people from dealing with that. They are obviously incompetent. Good luck with a *real* company!
@rmondello I’m new to Mastodon, but I’ve been a follower/supporter for years on the bird site. I support you now. And in 2023. And probably further. You’re awesome.
@adamconover I’ve been a fan for years. I’ve watched many of your shows and listened to many podcasts. But I never once saw you on Twitter, not by any fault of yours. I’m sure I missed a lot your work. I ran across you within my first two weeks on Mastodon, and I followed you immediately. Just an anecdote. Glad you are here!
@_Davidsmith Thanks for doing things like this, David! My eyesight has been excellent my entire life until my mid-40s. I’m not a developer, but I’m using accessibility features more and more, and I’m surprised by the number of apps without any accommodation at all (e.g., certain major note apps). Thanks for sharing tricks like this to help other developers and people like me!
@updates @Thelunarfox And the positive environment is one of the biggest reasons I’m here in this instance. I completely support that, and I appreciate that’s your goal. Thank you! Maybe I just haven’t seen spam or negativity from those I follow. You surely have a better overall perspective of Mindly.Social. But as a single user, so far, it seems you are achieving your goal. 👍🏻😃
@updates Look, I am apparently in the minority, but I follow those who I want to follow. If they are spamming links about politics and I don’t want to see it, I can mute/block/unfollow etc. There is no need to monitor what I choose to read. Maybe those links are valuable to me.
