Every (almost) year, I do an adopt-a-family for Christmas. It's not perfect, but it's what I can do. This year, I have 21 families in need of help (adding a few more to this post today). I had asked for a continuance at my first court date. New date is Thu Dec 7. I'm still quite a bit short, but if I can pay it all, it will be dismissed. I have other places I can go if i do end up losing my apartment. But I would rather stay housed.
