Thrilled to learn that Insomniac posted the list of #accessibility features for Marvel’s Wolverine alongside the gameplay trailer that also has audio description! Now that’s how you announce a game! Lots of great features for #blind gamers, so here’s hoping the game will be accessible because I’ve been wanting a more mature Marvel game. The game itself even lists it will have audio description in several languages!

Big thank you to Netflix Games for inviting me to speak for #GAAD yesterday! It was such a pleasure spending the day with the team.

Speaking of #Netflix, the official trailer for Season 2 of the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender dropped yesterday, and I had the honor of providing the audio description for it. I’m really proud of how it turned out, and it has me even more excited for the new season.

@prism Yup I’ve already been in touch with him :). In general my scope of the wiki is intended by design to be bigger than just that one topic. I think we both check in on each others lists and update accordingly. As for my personal preference, I’m wanting a game to pass a few checks before it’s put on the list. Things like that.

In other news that has me emotional 😭 I'm so honored to be part of this group and to be working alongside this amazing group of consultants. I truly believe this is the start of something great.

@patricus Currently, the blind accessible games page that I created only lists games that are fully accessible or nearly so. The intent was for people to not have to worry if a game they’re picking is fully accessible or not.
@SwordArtStreamer also sorry, I didn’t see the second half of your post. Yeah we’ve already been in contact and have exchanged resources haha.

@RossMinor

Good timing, I just learned that tomorrow (May 21) is Global Accessibility Awareness Day. https://accessibility.day/

@SwordArtStreamer that’s only a single page, I have a page like that, but it’s for an entire wiki of interconnected pages. The two pages can simultaneously coexist no problem.

My favorite pages:

List of blind accessible games: https://accessiblegaming.wiki/BlindAccessibleGames

The entire Pokemon section I’ve been working on: https://accessiblegaming.wiki/Pokemon

Games with audio description: https://accessiblegaming.wiki/GamesWithAudioDescription

Also currently working on a page linking to feedback forms for all the various different studios.
