Brookings Institution study:

"Conservative podcasters were 11 times as likely as liberal podcasters to share a claim that fact checkers could refute."

To erase this kind of finding, you have to declare "there are no facts, really, just politics." But then there is no journalism, either. Which is exactly where the right wing has gone: disinformation is a myth.

"Mr. Bannon said in an interview that the Brookings report was a 'badge of honor'..."

“In exchange for not crashing the United States economy, you get nothing,” Sen. Brian Schatz said in an interview with The Daily Beast. “You don’t get a cookie. ... You’re just a person doing the bare minimum of not intentionally screwing over your constituents for insane reasons.”

Largely missing from the gas stove discourse is the fact that induction cooktops heat faster, offer far more precise temperature control than gas or electric and chefs love them. And the government will give you up to $840 toward buying one plus up to $500 to cover the costs of installation and up to $4000 if you need to upgrade your electrical box to accommodate one.

I'm totally psyched to upgrade my old gas stove.
