Tarn Hows is one of my favourite spots in the Lake District - a small lake, you can walk all the way around it in under an hour.

The old "Concrete Road" across the moorland here was built in the 1930s to supply building materials for the dam when the Haweswater Reservoir was built. This is the point where it crosses Swindale Beck. #hiking #lakedistrict #perspective

I found this flower had self-set in my garden, but it’s too good to be treated as a #weed - so I took this photo on my iPhone, which then identified it as a type of #anemone
