Today was my last day at WeTransfer after almost 3 years there.
So now... time to find a new challenge. Which will itself be a challenge. It's my first time looking for a new job whilst unemployed, along with a lot of other colleagues affected by the wider WeTransfer layoffs.
My next opportunities have in the past come from the people in my network. So if you’re hiring for Apple platforms, I’d love to have a chat. Or even if you’re not currently hiring — I do have some time on my hands…
I'm super pumped that my project, Tailored Pod (https://tailoredpod.ai) has made it into the finals of the Paddle AI Launchpad!
If you're interested in seeing me pitch Tailored, you can register for the event and see 9 other finalist and me try to pitch their project in 3minutes (which is kind of tough).
Guten Morgen Deutschland,
🚀I'm excited to unveil:
Tailored Pod: A AI-generated daily news podcast: https://tailoredpod.ai
Every morning receive a new ~10min news podcast with AI 🤖 summaries just for you.
You pick what you're interested in and vote on articles to improve the selection.
You can decide how long the podcast should be, how often to receive it, and how to receive it.
In addition to the podcast, the summaries are also provided
- on a website
- in a newsletter
- (soon) in an iOS app
We‘re now on Mastodon as well 🥳

Once built, it might take days to weeks until the app is published on the App/Play Store. In this talk, you will learn how creating a simple low-code system can drastically improve your iteration speed, regardless of your team setup or tech stack. Together with Vidu you will take a holistic look at the app development process and explore how systematizing a few key areas can enhance your team’s cycle time. Then, he will show you how adding a simple low-code layer to your system will enable even non-developers to make changes to the app and ship them to your users instantly. This is an interdisciplinary talk designed for Product Managers, Designers, and Developers alike. Vidu is a veteran of the app development industry. He began developing apps using the first iPhone SDK in 2008. Since then, he has worked on diverse teams in industries such as media, publishing, social networking, and e-commerce. Today, he helps companies efficiently deliver high-quality apps by applying Systems Thinking to app development. He enjoys geeking out about espresso-making, note-taking, and personal growth when not coding or thinking about app development. 🚩 Talk Proposals If you'd like to submit a talk for a future session head over here https://sessionize.com/cocoaheads-hh/ 🔥 BREAKING NEWS 🔥 We have stickers for all of you and gifts for each speaker!
