I spent a lot of time researching and writing up this blog post about the history of Narcissus from #greekmythology. I'm really proud of myself, so I thought I'd share!

I feel like every time I really get going on my art, something happens to stop me.
This is a post about being bedridden sick.
Nyx and I are relaunching our webcomic so we have a bit more control over its distribution. Check it out!

I just realized that my favorite part of writing fiction isn't necessarily the characters, or the plot, though both of these are important and fun. It's the description. I love sitting down and writing multiple paragraphs describing a monstrous boar. Or perfectly capturing the tense air of expectation in a palace as the servants wait for the king's return.
This definitely comes from my love of writing poetry.
It's hard to be motivated on longer #writing projects when I can't show people anything. I also won't be able to show anyone a finished work once I'm done, since I'm working on a backlog of comic scripts so I don't need to worry about my artist while I write other stuff.
How do you guys keep going?
