FedEx is fairly quick... Except right now because I am impatiently waiting for my new chair from Secret Labs to get delivered.
Been refreshing since I got the alert it was out for delivery.

Man, been a little bit since I have posted on here. Works been weird but in a good way (new director, new CIO, old VP left, old director got shit canned and a lot of changes being made). Possibly working towards a major promotion myself seeing as how it will be for a job I already do.
Also, finally bit the bullet and bought a new chair to replace my current 3-ish year old office chair that was becoming hell on my back. Ended up ordering a SecretLab TITAN 2022 XL, black SoftWeave fabric covered. Spendy, but was advised by a co-worker that I trust that he loves it and it will fit more what I need than most other chairs.B
@jerry I am dreading the day that I have to go to our office in Austin although I think its on the chopping block to be closed and employees there go remote so maybe that will happen first.
Company I work for is pairing down to 3-4 offices globally I think is the end goal.
@ampersine more and more government work is looking like High School all over again and this just further proves it. "This group likes this, so we are going to hate it".
Hell I am just waiting for the technology to get to the point that you can buy a whole EV conversion setup as a 'Crate Engine' package so that people can easily convert older classic cars cause I would buy that.
Already really enjoy watching JerryRigEverything and his Electric Humvee build and Ford already released the motor from their Mach E Mustang as a 'crate engine' so you could technically do it as long as you could get the rest of the setup so we are already heading that way.
So got an introductory one on one meeting with our new director tomorrow. On Friday our current VP leaves the company so it's going to be an interesting week especially to see how things are going to re-arrange themselves.
New Director seems like a good guy, going to try and get a feel on where he wants our team to go direction wise so that I can plan what I want to study/learn this year. Also going to recommend building out an IR team as I am not sure if our current security team has one (as the "SOC" team seems to push all IR currently to IT as it is at least for internal things) so should be interesting.
At least it's a short week.
@dildog The spelling in this ad gave me cancer...
Jesus its been a while since I have had to decypher "redneck-meth-ese" 😂
Elon Musk reinstating Andrew Tate only for Andrew Tate to dox himself and tip off the police to his location while trying to get into a pissing match with Greta Thunberg is such an amazing story arc. ðŸ˜
A truly good thing @[email protected] accidentally did for humanity.
@Sysengineer ahh pizza rolls, much like hot pockets only ever exist in two states. Frozen or near frozen and molten hot magma.
And the tipping point between the two is likely a few seconds difference 😂
