Today is the Maryland Primary Election, and includes (for those registered as Democrats) an election to choose the candidate for US Senate, with County Executive #AngelaAlsobrooks as a strong candidate in that race. I hope that all voters who didn't vote during early voting turn out today! Polls close at 8pm!

Early voting in the #Maryland #primary is tonight (May 8) until 8 pm, then tomorrow 7 am to 8 pm. After that you have to wait until primary day itself, May 14 (7 am to 8 pm)!

The following notice was received by the Town of Riverdale Park from the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA):

Unscheduled mosquito spraying is planned on 8/29/23 within a 3/4-mile radius of Tanglewood Drive and Anacostia River Park, Edmonston.

The precautions are the same as for regular spraying. Any exemptions from spraying are paused.

Thursday afternoon at 5:00 pm was the deadline for petitions to be on the ballot, and I'm the only one who applied to be Mayor! As I've done in the past I will continue to campaign to learn about issues that I may not have heard about....I'm heading out shortly to the neighborhood east of Baltimore/US1 and south of East-West Highway. Later in the afternoon I'll join Ifiok Inyang (candidate for ward 4) in Silk Tree.
