@nor4 There you go.

Mouser customer service explained that Analog Devices don't want to sell to private individuals in Europe due to geopolitical reasons.

what the actual fuck does this mean.

Picard management tip: Don't negotiate absurd schedules with engineers. Encourage truth telling and reasonable time estimates.
DC decoupling i.e. "ac" coupling for GHz signals i meant ;)
but these are more of the DC to daylight decoupling caps due to their tolerances
yeah the silicone caps are totally on another scale, both in price but also in tolerance and repeatability. I think Vishay also offered some reflow solberable ones a while ago but they were discontinued. Accu-P would also be my go-to if price isn't an issue. There are also some very high frequency low C caps that intentionally use miniscule amount of lossy dielectrics (X7R et al.) to avoid sharp resonances due to the package parasitics (DLI, I think there under the Knowles brand know)

Rohde&Schwarz NRP-Zxx USB power sensors are not USB TMC but something undocumented and cursed.

You send it null terminated SCPI commands chunked into 16 byte pieces and 0 padded as USB bulk.

It sends back 16 byte USB bulk, byte 0 indicates what it is which can be a status, a little endian single precision float, 10 bytes of string or an indication that it's done sending a string.

Picard management tip: Even without game-changing results, experimentation is time well spent.
I don't think this utility box is going to pass the design rules check.
