I'm researching some graphics on vintage ads to use on my artwork, and I need to do some studies on these too, some are just sketches but some deserved a full render, this is a graphite on Bristol pad, it is been a minute since I've done a proper graphite piece. This is the first of a series I will call 'Mocha'. Also available on my webstore.
I forget at times how fun is to pencil, such a forgiving medium!π

As the summer heat started to leave, the time for baking has arrived again, I'm no expert, not even a beginner, but I do enjoy baking and eating bread and cookies, there is only so much I can do in an apartment with a toaster oven but is delightful non the less, I use baked goods as reference in my artwork, and is in fact a reflection of myself, my likes, not a paint trend, but a true passion...π₯ πͺ ποΈ
still I admit, I'm more passionate about eating the baked goods than painting them π
Started working on a new body of artwork, keep learning and enjoying the process, times are really difficult and uncertain, much more than usual, but art keeps my mind focus, not sure what the immediate future holds for me, so I will just keep doing as much art as possible while keeping plans in limbo, still in hopes for a brighter time ahead.
below: wip, about half way done.

I was going through a backup of files (tedious job π
) when I came across my old Ubuntu comics, I remember making them for the magazine but they were all rejected if I remember correclty, or maybe one made it? I don't know, any way, the funny thing is that now that I don't thinker much with my PC, I really forgot many of these terms I was making fun of π,
I have about 20 of these.
And yes, "El Criollos" was for a little bit my nickname π

I'm going to use this new platform to put up for sale some of my customized toys and older & smaller pieces, was originally created for art toys but now art, prints and illustrations are available there. I just made an account a few days ago and today I posted some pieces. For now only available within the US due to the circumstances.
These are "illustrated" toys π the "spray cans" are about 3 inches tall, I don't think I can draw that small any more π₯²
