On happier and bittersweet news, I'm having a couple of pieces on the coming exhibition at Thinkspace gallery, this is a dream coming true, as this place is an institution in the art scene in LA, I had the opportunity to be at their foreign shows but this is the first time showing at their gallery! To my luck this time I can go and see it myself, but am non the less exited for the show. here is a flyer with the info.
Just finished another piece for a coming show in July, I'm been very blessed actually to have this opportunities coming, as I'm also showing a couple of pieces in one of the most influential galleries in Los Angeles, at Thinkspace! (first time doing it locally at their gallery that is).
Feeling fortunate yet vulnerable too, not only because the recession, the saturation in the art world, but also because the latest events here in SoCal. is gloomy. Hopping for the best always.
'The Love Ledger Keeper'
This is a piece I have in the group exhibition 'ELEVATE' by Thinkspace and happening at BSMT Space gallery in London, starting tomorrow and on display till June 15.
Lore: The Moon goddess who comes to hearth every month (thus you can't see the moon) to do her appointed shores, takes human souls when they see her beauty, they get "logged" in the Love Legder with the eternal red ink. 😁

WIP: A little "CD Cover" art piece I'm doing for a coming exhibition with the Hive Gallery (from LA) happening in Japan in May
I'm using the theme of the song "Sugar, Sugar" by "The Archies" for inspiration, I think is very fitting to my usual compositions. This is also the first time I'm painting on paper!🤞🏼 😁
To keep my ink lines 'clean', I would be doing these studies, that allow me to keep practicing and also stimulating my mind by fixing existing characters into my own style, these fan art pieces will be also available at my store if anyone is interested. I'll try to do one per week or every two weeks, I already have a few characters in mind but am open to sugestions, preferably classic or pre 2000's.

This monkey "Mad Monkey" is my alter ego, sometimes is a cat, and used to be a squirrel, (if you have follow me for a while you'll remember) it doesn't matter the animal, the character is one and the same.
A long time ago he fell under a spell and was transformed into a toy plush possessed with my soul, he is on a quest to be himself again and for that he needs the power of the mysterious magical woman, the one who stole his heart ..🐵 💀 😺 💘
