I got a new (old) Ricoh XR-S over Christmas (my other one had a broken meter). Unfortunately it came with a stuck mirror, which required repair. However, Ricoh Cameras are surprisingly sturdy and after removing the bottom plate (remove the screws the arrows point to), I found some hardened grease and a stuck pin (arrow+circle) which connects the winder to the cocking mechanism. Carefully moving it released the mechanism and now it is again working properly. The good thing is, the camera is in otherwise really good condition, so much that I think I can take it out to fill a role of film with it.
