I have two sets of stickers that folk can win by parking in disabled parking bays without displaying a blue badge. One set says “You have taken my space. Would you like my disability too? Please don’t park in disabled spaces in future”. The other set is the star prize, and says “Not disabled, just a unt” with the wheelchair symbol carefully placed to look like a “C”.
I got an even better one placed today.
Called over the traffic warden who had just pulled up on the other side of the road…

Also, if you take this as a prompt be aware that the first episode sucks and it gets as much better as a 1980s budget allows after that.
I’ve started* watching the 1987 BBC series “Star Cops”. It’s untaxing fun for the most part (if one can ignore the poor physics and effects). But… it’s set in 2027 and there are frequent “I don’t trust the computer answers” moments, and America is up to something shady. Prescient much?
*for the first time. No idea how a geek like me missed it when it first came around.
Call me judgemental if you will, but I’m going to put it out there that if your wedding reception DJ is using a free version of Spotify then that says something about you.
(True story, not at said reception just walked past the venue when the adverts kicked in.)
