Got @Picklebug a Lizard Doggo plush from Satisfactory.

The upside? Its life sized and perfect for cuddling with, and she loves it, giggling and jumping up and down like a child lol.

The downside? Its life sized and perfect for cuddling with and its now sharing a bed with us. Or I should say, im sharing a bed with the two of them lmao

Well class was unexpectedly fun today. We've known for a long time that we had to present a product to a room of "Venture Capitalists" (our peers), and that its one of the final projects, but what occurred was entirely unexpected for me. Our classmates really got into the role, and asked hard hitting questions about each product, covering topics like security, privacy, safety, usability and profitability. Some teams were clearly not anticipating the intense questioning, but my team was strongly prepared.

We'll see how the next session goes (I feel like the next teams are going to prepare over the next 48 hours) but so far I think our idea came out the strongest. We leaned hard into eco-shaming, and were prepared for every question save one, how we approached right to repair, but I was able to handle it well on the fly I think. Here's hoping we get "funded".

@Picklebug and I have been watching Our Flag Means Death, and I've been really enjoying it.

Season one was fun and campy (episode one was a bit too much for my taste, but episode two on were much more enjoyable). I've really enjoyed the queer relationships being presented without justification.

Season two has had a much darker tone, and is exploring ideas of trauma and forgiveness, which has just made it resonate with me all the more.

For anyone picking it up, I will say there is quite a bit of pirate-related violence, and I guess implied gore. But its a fun show, with lots of dumb lovable characters, and occasionally it tugs really hard on your heartstrings

I guess I should have a stance here, since that's apparently what we're doing now. I have no plans to abandon tech.lgbt. From all the evidence that I have, moderators and the admin have put our community first and have acted in the interests of keeping tech.lgbt a safe place for everyone. Even the creator of thebad.place admitted that we were added to their blocklist via a bug.

However the explosion of hate from both sides has been very telling, and all yall need to take a deep look inside yourselves. From what I've seen, our moderation team has avoided being nasty and has only questioned the methods by which an instance is added to the list. Which again, has been admitted to being a bug.
I love the community that takes up the majority of space here, but I have seen some shit. When you fight for the instance you're a part of, but you use racism to do so, you're the problem. When you justify the blocklist with transphobia, you're the problem.

First taste of Armored Core VI. First boss* dead. No spoilers but god i struggled with him. @Picklebug killed him with relative ease and proceeded to watch me fail over and over again, but I eventually pulled it off.

Gonna have to work hard at learning this one.. its a bit more frenetic than games im used to, souls included. Builds are also extremely important and mission by mission, so ill need to grind up credits in order to be successful

*not counting the tutorial boss
