I live in SF, and professionally I’m a learning scientist—at a research institute for a couple of decades, and now in industry (and, of course, my views are my own and not those of my company). Sometimes I may be found bike riding in the city or environs. Oh, and I was never on Twitter, so I’m not only learning mastodon, but figuring out the whole thing!

To everyone that's confused, the planet Venus rotates very very slowly, with a single revolution taking about 243 Earth days, and Mercury rotates slowly, but not as slow as Venus.
