Crafting, nature, gardening, bees, elephants, early music. Oh, and swears.
New house has a Hive thermostat. Literally no better functionality-wise than the first Honeywell one I had 23 years ago. But, crucially, constantly losing the signal. It's utter shit. I don't know why anyone thinks they're any good.
@81732bit True, but very sad.
@81732bit πŸ€” If there's a ceasefire, Israel will automatically not be targeting civilian areas because they won't be bombing anything. Sorry. May be being slow on the uptake, but Israel would have to concede something else wouldn't it? Like a prisoner release?
@[email protected] πŸ‘€ TK Maxx...
@[email protected] Already panicking, yes. And wondering how I'll make it with no Bank Holidays through the horridest months.
@[email protected] We're exploring our new neighbourhood by foot - how far to the shops, where does this path go, where are the best spots to stroke the horses.....that kind of thing.

@[email protected] Where you bin? ☺️

Toast. Hard to know whether to celebrate or not, really.

@[email protected] (Sorry, went out), this I the stitch choice on mine. The orange setting on the bottom dial uses the right-hand set of stitches. If I select 'A' on the top dial and use the orange section, it does a stitch, misses one, goes back and puts a stitch next to the gap etc etc. Like a hit and miss fence.
@[email protected] I used to use the ordinary zigzag, but now I use one of those 'hit and miss' ones. It's slower, but a much neater result as the stitches are in line.
Slightly scary when your mortgage payment goes up by your weekly shopping bill before your first regular payment is due 😬😬😬
