@amindonfire something about the visual sensibilities of the NGC directors is so captivating (I’ve only seen the big 3 that I know of). I know in the case of Wenders, it’s much more improvisational than one would think, considering like 80% of any film of his could be in a photography exhibition. He and Robby Muller really are a magic duo. I haven’t looked into the criterion release for The American Friend, any dope supplements?
