Advancements in high-throughput genomic tech have generated vast amounts of sequencing data, requiring standardized processing. The Genomic Data Commons was established for this purpose, but its pipeline lacks scalability and reproducibility. A new scalable workflow using Parsl was developed to harmonize local DNA sequencing with GDC data, balancing cost and accuracy in cancer research while ensuring reproducible genome analyses.
