Messier 27 - Dumbbell Nebula - STARLESS
is a bright planetary nebula in the constellation Vulpecula about 1,200β1,360 light-years away and reaches its annual culmination at astronomical midnight and is best observed around late July each year from mid-northern latitudes.

The Flaming Star nebula in Auriga is interesting because of its prominent combination of emission (red) and reflection (blue) nebula components.
About an hour each of R,G and B, captured in January. Subject deserves more image capture time, but this was a test while experimenting with some aspects of capture automation.

This is the second big project with my new RC 8" and the first after tweaking the collimation a bit. Stars are looking quite good actually.
