The Heart of the Forest. I just got the scan back and was impressed at how well it turned out. It is a huge painting, so it needed to be scanned in parts and stitched together.

I am thrilled to be juried into the next Infected by Art book, volume 11! What a great honor! Thank you!

This particular piece is a little different than my usual. It is a more personal piece and a little more realistic than other subjects I paint. I was inspired by reading about mesolithic construction artists working with ancient remains. I hope to explore this subject a lot more!
