The Heart of the Forest. I just got the scan back and was impressed at how well it turned out. It is a huge painting, so it needed to be scanned in parts and stitched together.

I am thrilled to be juried into the next Infected by Art book, volume 11! What a great honor! Thank you!

This particular piece is a little different than my usual. It is a more personal piece and a little more realistic than other subjects I paint. I was inspired by reading about mesolithic construction artists working with ancient remains. I hope to explore this subject a lot more!

My artists v art for 2021 and 22. I had a tough time creating this past year. I kept redesigning pieces or repainted pieces multiple times. I figured some things out and other things not at all. I hope next year I'm more productive. I hope to sketch a lot more too. #artists #art #2023goals
