Have since my first pc a Commodore 64 worked with PCs. IT technician and runs my own servers and real backup solutions privately.
@mcSlibinas @eugenialoli I agree. The importance is that there are no issues anymore 👌
@mcSlibinas @eugenialoli I'm a IT technician. I would say most time it is the user who is the cause of the errors in Windows. I have not had a OS related issue even once since Windows XP. 3rd party driver issues? Yepp but that's not the fault of Windows 😊
@HunterZ @lauren It was very noticeable during last election. Less than half of the population that is allowed to vote did vote. And worse! Is that Trump had less than 50% of the votes from those who voted. That's a clear sign that your system does not work. When less than a forth of the people can vote someone into office in a country that is a major player in the global politics and affects all lives in Europe depending on who gets picked. That's extremely serious failure of a system.
@HunterZ @lauren It's important that the people rally and maybe force a change by voting in a third party into the system. One side that isn't republican nor democrat. A party who focus on the best for all the people instead of having two parties who just cares about themselves? Just a thought 🤔
@HunterZ @lauren Ok wasn't meant as a critique but as a curious question since I do not live in the US. It's a big problem that this happen but it sounds like a move Trump would do to be able to pass a change in how many times you could run for POTUS.
@Voline @lauren ah ok. Then it is very important to reach out to everyone everywhere and inform them about the stupidity so they vote on time.
@mcSlibinas @eugenialoli Yepp I know. Was just curious about the reasoning behind moving over to Linux. I think it's positive 🙂
@eugenialoli Ok. It's nice to see a move over to Linux. I read some post about Mint. It is easy to use? I have only used Ubuntu
@lauren Why is a mail-in system needed? Is it that far in between the places where you can go and vote?
@iFixit Would it not be a good idea to make some learning videos on Linux? It's a perfectly good OS in most cases. Only would be the lack of directX support which stop many old games to easily be ported to the platt form.
