The GOP has introduced a bill to EXPEL Palestinians from the United States. I cannot read such things without remembering what happened to my own family after Pearl Harbor. After we and 120,000 other Japanese Americans were incarcerated in prison camps for years, without charge or trial, my own mother was very nearly expelled to Japan because of racial prejudice and hatred. Only the brave actions of a civil rights attorney saved her from being sent away. #NeverAgain
I sorta miss drawing. The circumstances that make it pleasureable are often few & far between. So me & drawing often feel like exes. But it knocks every once in a while.

Back on my comfy business with this honeycomb blanket.

One of my favourite recent works from March on, you guessed it, Mar10 day, as posted on my art tumblr. This plant's eager to show some plumbers a bad time.

Almost two whole years of inactivity here. Holy cow.

One of the reasons I left this place was the UI's classifieds-esque layout and just feeling... socially isolated because a lot of us are dealing with mental illness.

I'm also embracing my raincloud personality a little bit, because human condition yadda yadda.

I hope those who are still here are doing okay. <3

I'm more active on tumblr & twitter these days. Just occasionally putting up artwork and pretending my personality isn't a heavy raincloud.

One thing I hate about posting art I'm proud of on other sites is, people decide my misery was the most interesting thing, & then leave.

I know, it's petty & whiny to talk about this. This will hopefully be the last time it's brought up.

In the hope that this result might dissolve someone's creative block. 💚 #art #illustration #mastoart
Knit a sparkly blue square, fold it into a bunny. This yarn is sock weight, but way too itchy for its intended purpose, 'specially with the tinsel running through it. #Knitting #FiberArts
