PSA: #Google is about to #lockdown #Android. Starting September 2026, Google will only allow Apps from registered developers on Android devices. This effectively gives them control over independent app stores like @fdroidorg and all developers that did not want to work with Google in the past. I have just sent an email to the european parliament about that matter. If you rely on independent app stores as well, feel free to do that, too! More information on https://keepandroidopen.org/

@traewelling hello, I started using Träwelling and I am really grateful for the service it offers ☺️ It's so nice, I want to thank all the people involved in the developement and maintenance ☺️ but there's one really annoying bug: Träwelling does not track the distances of the real tracks but only straight-line distances. That's really uncool 😔 do you think, there's a possibility to change that? Or is there a particular reason?

In case you missed it:
The EU is on the road to backdoor E2E encryption or ban it.
On CPDP in Brussels Europol member told me openly they expect that E2E can be decrypted soon and whoever refuses to comply will face legal action (aka arrests). The privacy officer of Europol openly supported it.
If you dont take agressive action soon then say goodbye to Signal or Threema or any other tool you use. It will be banned or shutdown.
The crypto wars never left, now its endgame.

I did a thing...

Fits right in with the official DB stickers.

Unfortunately the stickers were cutout kinda uneven which resulted in the white border not being equal thickness on the sides.
But the color is a near perfect match to the official ones.

And they are a bit small, I'll probably create another batch in a larger format.

Credit to @revengeday for the absolutely great design, I just changed the colors.
