@portmantony @marabg @athosmoreno seems like it’s MetaText for iOS. I switched to that today and love it. You see the Local and the Fediverse posts on it nicely.

@esdin I have come back to this post the next day to thank you. I now know how to view the Local and Federated feeds and now I am the one who sees all the people that don’t know they are being seen. 🤣💙

@athosmoreno @portmantony definitely think that will be a massive turn off to most new people and prevent them from staying 
@portmantony Using the official Mastodon app doesn’t appear that way though. Please explain how to get the most out of the app which can’t see the Fediverse (if possible) as I imagine most newcomers will be accessing Mastodon via official mobile app.
@KuJoe Great to hear - you can certainly feel Mastodon is different in so many better ways than Twitter and I hope this really works out.
@KuJoe Yeah this is a really bad design choice? Or whatever choice not to have such a crucial part of Mastodon on the Mastodon app. What’s the reasoning? I am see all of the tweets live right now of people switching over and being confused. Maybe some understanding to the “why” could be helpful? Or is it just a bad choice?
